Answers: I get mine taken off on october 3rd of 07 (yes i still remember the sunshine!) It didn't hurt hardly at adjectives. They put your two retainers in your mouth (if you're getting pendant wire ones glue on the back of your teeth,) and afterwards they had the doctor check them. The doctor give an Ok, and they took this utensil and just started popping them sour. There were four that hurt (the 4 bottom ones within the front) but they let me bite on these cotton things that they own at my orthodontist and it was over within a second. My back ones (the ones that connect adjectives the wires and brackets together) it tasted really gross because food that get stuck in those doesn't come out while you own your braces on so that was one of the most disgusting taste. After they get the braces rotten, i personally have a little blood, you might too, they tolerate you brush your teeth and rinse your mouth out. They'll then take the mold for your hollywoods (the clear retainers that you wear at night) and they ask you (atleast mine did) if i wanted to go and get a medal retainer that go across my teeth. I said no thank you and thats it. I waited an hour for my hollywood to be done and next they released me with a unmarked smile and a whole lot of confidence. It be as simple as that. I hope everything goes ably =)
