I'm 38weeks pregnant and throughout my pregnancy from maybe week 23 the right side of my mouth have been within so much agony! Its not always in attendance it flares up every few weeks. Its fine during the day but its blatant agony at night making it knotty to sleep. The pain wake me up and can keep me up for up to 3hrs. I've be to the dentist twice but nothing have worked. Its also not just one tooth its the in one piece side of my mouth - teeth, gums, cheek everything. I know my pregnancy is almost over I just wanna know if anyone have ever experienced something similar and how they dealt beside it??
Answers: if you have dull pain while sleeping, there is an abscessed tooth due to corrosion. Get an X ray & check it up. May be you call for RCT.
Gum problems are more severe during pregnancy. You gums overreact to everything due to the hormones. You can develop tumors and sores on your gums during pregnancy. Getting your teeth cleaned can help, but if you hold an infected tooth this could also be causing some overreacting or impacted tradition teeth. Although, at this point you are pretty much done so you should probably try and wait it out and own it checked after delivery.
