Alternative to Baking soda?

For whiting teeth?

My teeth are tremendously sensitive and ive be told Baking soda newly make it more sensitive.


Is within an alterrnative?

I agree beside Dragonsong in the region of using Hydrogen Peroxide as a mouthwash! It works for me and I don't hold those darn canker sores that seem to basis me much agony for long period of time. Just read her answer and heed the "do not swallow warning"!
They do provide toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Check it out at your pharmacy.
mcr diehard admirer - I use Arm & Hammer baking soda & hydrogen peroxide toothpaste and hydrogen peroxide as my mouthwash. The toothpaste is really peaceable.

If you read the ingredients in most tooth whitening products you will see that that 'whitening agent' is usually some form of Hydrogen Peroxide.

To enjoy whiter teeth, every morning and beforehand bed, after brushing and flossing use Hydrogen Peroxide as your mouth mop up. You can buy hydrogen peroxide (3% surrounded by the brown bottle) at your local drugstore for in the order of $2 for a 16 ounce bottle. Mix 1/2 ounce hydrogen peroxide next to 1/2 ounce hot hose down and swirl surrounded by your mouth for around 1 minute. Spit out (DO NOT SWALLOW) and afterwards rinse your mouth out several times beside cool sea. A 16 ounce bottle will finishing a short time over 2 weeks.

Hydrogen Peroxide is tacky but it does foam up, and sometimes even stings your mouth a lttle. In mixing to whitening your teeth, hydrogen peroxide kill the microbes surrounded by your mouth that cause bleak breath and cavity.
I haven't found BS to label my teeth more sensitive. But afterwards I only just brush beside it once per morning - I put on the toothpaste, drizzling the brush, consequently dip it contained by a container of BS.

I use Sensodyne because I do enjoy sensitive teeth and I haven't found them getting worse.
