You know when you brush your teeth and it turns into foam afterwards? Is it okay to swallow more or less partly of it? The toothpaste I use is Crest near Extra Whitening and Tartar protection and it is a fluoride anticavity toothpaste. What are the side effects if it's doomed to failure? Or any symptoms?
Answers:
Flouride itself is toxic within giant amounts, but unless you are ingestion your toothpaste, it's fine. Experts net this stuff next to the expertise and expects that citizens, especially children, are going to swallow a absolute amount of it. If you read the vertebrae of the box or tube, it will usually right to be heard something similar to, "do not swallow more than you would from average brushing."
Just FYI-
Symptoms of fluoride poisoning:
body as a whole-
excessive salivation
anomalous tang (salty or soapy taste)
tremors
lowliness
convulsions
respiratory -
shallow respirations
gastrointestinal-
nausea
vomiting
diarrhea
abdominal aching -
uptight system
shock
Also, too much fluoride over time will motive white patch or other discoloration of your teeth. It can also effect enamal reduce to rubble and pitting. Honestly, though, you don't own much to verbs roughly speaking from swallowing some foam from usual brushing. Most cases of fluoride poisoning occur from fluoride found smoothly surrounded by some drinking water- usually not the areas where on earth fluoride is added. The fluoride issue is a hotly debate one right immediately and you are going to find convincing arguments for both sides. I would own to influence to err on the side you are comfortable beside. I guess I'd only just hold to ask if you are still alive and capably (with clean teeth) near your current brushing practices. If you are still unsure, consult to a dentist AND a physician. Chances are you will seize conflicting direction, but at smallest it will most predictable be accurate so you can product your own choices.
No it is not ok to swallow the foam from toothpaste. If you can't brush minus swallowing it later cut hindmost on the amount of toothpaste you use.
Toothpaste is a cleaner and is composed of diverse chemicals. Not heaps chemicals are that virtuous for us to digest so I wouldn't suggest digesting on a regular spring.
It is horrible for you.
Braces: My teeth 'pop.' Is that regular?
New braces?
I enjoy braces, is it ok if the ligating modules slip bad ONLY on the top corner of the bracket?
