What do recptionists at dentist office do?

I'm 15 and theres a job introductory, is it fairly simple? What are some things they do?

Answers:    A receptionist at any Doctor's bureau virtually runs the place, and sorry to tell you, but you're too childlike and lack experience.

You hold to pull charts, diary appts, call for follow ups, appointment for recommendations, track costs, time, & procedures for insurance billing, feat as a liaison between clients, insurance companies & the doctor, answer phones, etc. It can be very speedy paced, and wisdom and the ability to work on your own, be updated at multi tasking are all compulsory to the success of the doctor's organization. Especially some knowledge of procedures and lingo in the grazing land in which you would be working as you work A LOT next to insurance companies, getting billing, pre-approval, confirmation, etc.
answer phone, schedule appts
