I was wondering, how does braces work for a being with an overbite? More frequently, do they move the top set of teeth backwards? Or the bottom set forwards?
I own an overbite and I find it hard to bite beside my braces. Do I continue beside the way I hold been biting OR do i have need of to change my ways? If make over, how do I bite...?

Answers: About a eight months ago I had a overbite brace but I finished need it in December.
I own a feeling near is only one type of overbite brace (the one beside the outward ridges that makes your bottom cheek stick out a bit).
To answer your question your bottom teeth move forward but you mouth goes put a bet on to it's usual place. You notice a difference but don't expect brilliant results.
Keep biting the bearing your biting you will get the sway of it. I found it easier to bite on the ridges it also helps to hang on to food out of the top of the brace.
