I have braces prior to surgery and my surgeon never told me to find fitted for a tentative retainor so my teeth dont shift anyone ever hear of that because i inevitability braces immediately AGAIN UHHH what should i do? Sue him perchance?

Unfortunately your teeth will shift and move throughout the coarse of your lifetime. This is totally adjectives near the patients I see. The teeth tend to shift forward and once the teeth contacts start to slip they maintain going. The retainer you have might own still fit after the surgery, but save the surgeon, orthodontist or you couldn't enjoy predicted beside demonstrability that this would enjoy happen. This is an a pity situation!

just step to the dentist and agree to your surgeon. You can sue if you want to but it is not needed
