Exercise and body?

i have started lifting weightiness 2 weeks ago and when i am doing them i can feel the muscles contained by my stomach tightening up, what i want to know is if this is normal and do solidity lifting always tone up other parts of the body along beside the arms ?


Answers:    This is completely normal. When lifting free weights, other muscles are put into use. There are several people who enjoy a six pack from lifting weights and have never done a sit-up within there natural life.
It depends on what exercises you are doing at that time. If you are doing free weights, then it is possible for your stomach to tighten up. It is helping to stabilize your body. However if you want really strong abs you will hold to do an exercises that concentrates on them. (like crunches).
