Hey within! I really have need of give a hand and you get to answer this. I know 'sit and make' does assistance the trunk flexibility but i want something close to a "substitute exercise" as what my coach asked.

Another fitting one would be to support your body beside one arm outstretched to the wall, and the other arm over your person in charge, similar to a jazz dancer [just no tutus...:o) ]...beside the knees of the support arm side bent slightly...and make for the wall.rear legs up straight...repeat 8-10 times...you should perceive your side midsection stretching. Stretch one side, later the other side.
You could try study to do hula hoop exercises.
