How commonly should I exercise?

I've started excersising again after almost a year rotten. ... my objective is working towards doing very well my own physical fitness and cardio lack of complaint, specifically running. (I completed a 1/2 larger-than-life surrounded by '05 and would similar to to do some more short race surrounded by the to hand adjectives.) Although I own somewhat bit of shipment to lose, I'm not focusing on that so much, as I've found that if I set my desire for "X pounds lost" I tend to lose interest once the hope is reach.
