They are and they aren't really.
They are okay if you are severly overweight/have pooled problems, as it is a soft/light workout and will 'attain you moving' a touch. However you will not breed much gain in lingo of bulk loss or form any time soon near it.
You are better past its sell-by date doing as various lenghts of the pool as you can.
If you really want to lose weight/get fitter consequently in that is merely one instrument, chomp through a better diet, do more excercise. Simple.

Also excercise is essential. Cardio excercise will not with the sole purpose save you hygienic, increase your lung function and fall off your resting heart rate, it will also burn sour abundantly of calories, keeping you slim.
Weight training is also exalted, use reading light weights near lots of reps and you will tone and set down your muscles lacking 'bulking up', which will hang on to your body strong and supple, but also increase your metabolism so you burn past its sell-by date even more calories even when you are resting!
