Age 64, colestro 3.8, low pulse,obedient diet, exersize 3-4 /week eg 6km run,why giant BP. genes yrs but mechanics?

am on bendroflume2.5mgthiazide and normally bp =140/80 but recent check by Biobank = 169/84. As everthong else is OK what mechanics produce the result. (i.e. are my veins small?)
