I suffered next to horrible sleep paralysis while taking Tegretol (Carbemazapine) and immediately that I don't rob Tegretol I suffer next to a special character of sleep apnea (central apnea) explicitly usually brought on by brain trauma or drugs/medication. I am trying to determine if they are all connected.the Tegretol, Sleep paralysis and internal apnea. Any serious reply would be greatly appreciated.

I be on tegretol at one point but soon after I started to develop these strange spasms and uncharacteristic muscle spasms during the darkness. Shortly thereafter I started to get hold of seizure. They are not epilepsy or gran mal. They are immediately individual call "stress seizures". But to me it is bearing too coincidental that this started when I be on Tegretol. I dont hold difinitive answers, I really will I did. I loathe to see someone else suffering. I woudl recommend you do a look into for adverse effects to Tegretol. This is a righteous start here and I really do hope you return with some answers. I am sorry I couldn't proposition you more backing or better complex proof. I'm sorry that you are going through this. I sincerely hope that you touch better soon and carry the best treatment possible for your apnea. One item to preserve surrounded by mind is a sleep study.
I be put on Lexapro and shortly after started have seizure surrounded by my sleep. I asked my dr. if the lex. could be cause the seizure she assured me NO.

I hold also be told I hold sleep apnea I enjoy prearranged for a long time I enjoy sleep problems. so enjoy done the sleep clinic and yes I hold severe sleep apnea, waiting on the dreaded cpap. my dr. in a minute have me on trazodon for the seizure. and still on lexapro. I simply want stale both of them. possibly depression isn't so unpromising after adjectives.
