I have a physiology sound out that l need sustain understanding: Can a entity attempt to breathe through an 11-foot snorkel if he is at the bottom ogf a 10 ft deep swimming pool? In other words, would the creature be able to effectively freshen?

The dead space is the volume of nouns between the oxygen source and the working part of the lungs, the so call alveoli in the lung tissue proper. Even short a snorkel, we have a trustworthy amount of anatomical dead space between the jaws and the end of the airways contained by the lungs (the ends of the bronchioles).
Imagine panting very shallowly and at the double. You would be bringing no new nouns into the system, just moving alike column of air up and down an inch or two. That's what would begin even with gaping breaths if you had a long adequate snorkel. The air coming within from the outside would get roughly speaking 3/3 of the way to the mouth, and your lungs would be full. You would be moving one and the same column of air up and down the snorkel, getting no fresh oxygen and vent no carbon dioxide.
