Kind of a callous subject - when you enjoy the flu and hold diarrhea?

Someone advise me that this is nature route of getting rid of the virus - it flushes it out and that by taking something close to pepto bismo - and stopping the diarrhea - this prolongs the sickness because it does not flush out. Is this creature road bad foundation?

Answers:
I never give somebody a lift antidiarrheal medication. If you hold some charitable of microbes contained by your system, this is your body's crude style of getting rid of it. Keep hydrated next to gatorade or pedialyte. Stay away from fruit juice which may clear it worse. If you enjoy an appetite put away foods that are undemanding to digest, soup and crackers etc. You can buy cream that will relieve near the irritation, any newborn diaper reckless cream will do.
If it doesn't clear up on it's own, or you are incompetent to maintain fluids down step to the ER for IV fluids.
The virus doesn't only just run it's course and that's the extension. Your body's immune system defeat it. You should clutch pepto or something b/c if diarrhea continues for too long, or is vastly severe, or mixed beside vomitting after dehydration is the concern.
First sour, the flu is a respiratory disease. The influenza virus does not effect your gastrointestinal tract and as a consequence does not lead to diarrhea. The "stomach flu" is a possession used to describe viral gastrointeritis but is techinacally not the flu.

As for taking anti-diarrheals, I believe it is better to simply "ride the wave" (pardon the pun) and distribute supportive psychiatric help. Make sure you keep hold of yourself hydrated.
