Asthma, best moment flow & oxygen?

I have asthma. I haven't have too many "attacks" since moving away from the allergen (dog) ten years ago, so I never complained almost it to my doctor. The other day we did a high point flow machine for the heck of it. I score pretty low. I'm on advair now & my culmination flow isn't any better. That's another issue.
Here's my question: If I'm not have attacks (wheezing, coughing), is a low peak flow still necessarily unpromising? Am I oxygen deprived?

I should add that I be aware of tired all the time & hold all sorts of other robustness problems and have be sent from specialist to specialist for the last 10 years (mostly neuros and psychiatrists).

TIA

Answers:    Whether a low crag flow is bad depends on how he get the low number. If it was from properly administered spirometry a low number can be prominent. The little hand-held peak flow meters are wrong but precise, though. In simple terms, don't sweat the number from them as long as it is stable and don't compare numbers from different meters. If the number from your own meter drops follow the doctor's instructions - he should enjoy given you instructions for how big a drop should trigger a call to him or a trip to the ER.

Even if working the Advair may own no obvious effect on summit flow. It is a maintenance psychiatric help to decrease the number and intensity of attacks. It is considered powerful if you need to use a rescue inhaler resembling albuterol no more than twice a week, do not wake at darkness from difficulty breathing, and miss no work or school from breathing problems. If any of those appear the dosage may need to be bumped up temporarily or added medication(s) added to the routine.

Peak flow has almost no effect on oxygenation. With a zenith flow so low it could indicate an oxygenation problem you wouldn't need it to know you be in trouble ;-)

Tiredness can progress with psychiatric problems, neuro problems, respiratory problems, and deeply of others. I'm glad to see your doc is casting a broad net.

Do breed sure you follow the instructions for rinsing and spitting after the Advair, do not use extra doses in grip of problems, and contact the doc promptly in shield of problems.
I have asthma as economically. If you were only put on Advair the other day, it take quit a few day's for it to take affect. I use Advair 250/50. When I first started to use it, it took roughly speaking a week to start making a difference. If after a week you still have a low blossoming flow, you might ask your doctor about perchance a higher doseage of Advair. The maximum is 500/50.

I'm not a Dr. (I wish) but I hope this help a little :D
