My son has some rash,,they look like pimples, 3 on his leg, 3 on his paw one on his cheek
They are small red, itchy and have lil fluid surrounded by them. The Doctors office told me they don't want to see him because it sounds similar to he has chickenpox.....he is carrying the live infection. He is 6 and he doesn't have any fever or chills. He is running around as usual and playing.
The nurse told me to get some creams and Benedryl. I never have it. and I have never see it b4?
any help from moms,,dads,,nurses.?
Answers: If they're red and itchy dots they could enormously well be chicken pox. Even if they're not, try to save him from scratching them accessible. No matter what it is that will create it worse. Get the creams to soothe the itch. Alot of kids feel ok when they bring back the pox and are able to run and play. Mostly its the itching that make them miserable. If you have doubts and the doctor doesn't want to risk spreading it, see if you can show them a photo or something, although you explained it really ably. Hope your kid gets better and that you don't lock in it.
Chicken pox are often itchy and will scab up developing a crust. A frenzy is common but mild cases may skip this. They tend to spread contained by the beginning...you will regularly see more appear as others seem to make well. Blot them with calamine lotion and instruct you child not to scrape. Keep your child secluded indoors until it have cleared. Feed him healthy foods as you would expect and plenty of fluids. Rest can be helpful but he doesn't involve to lay in bed adjectives day
