Antibiotics - surgery?

are there any concerns something like taking antibiotics before a minor surgery? the infection is not related to the procedure

Answers:    Are you have surgery where they put you completely to sleep? They would prefer that you hold nothing contained by your stomach so time your last dose to be no smaller number than 4-6 hours before the procedure & with the sole purpose take beside a sip of water (the pill & the 1 sip will be long gone since surgery). Then be sure they know what drug you are on for the records & within case they want to present you another drug.
It would not hurt to skip one dose of antibiotics.
Your surgeon needs to know something like this. Usually they do not operate on anyone who is taking antibiotics because they want you in the best condition that you can be when have surgery. Give him a call and see what he say.
