Heart rate and alcohol?

i have be suffering from this for a few months now, everytime i own a drink or two my heart pounds and increases fast, ive be to the doctors about this and she say it aint nothing to verbs about, i thought it might be something call tachycardia or something like that.... but she ruled it out, why does my heart rate increase and see when i have a drink! serve its driving me insane i cant relax withit when im out anymore with my friends :(

Hmm difficult to say afterwards. Most likely cause would be that you had a one past its sell-by date episode of high heart rate and since next when in a similar situation you become anxious and your heart race. Or you have some sort of arrythmia to be precise triggered by alcohol. If your GP has see you and you've had heart electrical tracings done next you should be okay. If it keeps arranged with alcohol and you've not have an ECG or ECG monitor done then I would push for one. Good luck.
