Herpes Question ~ Serious Answers Only Please?

Back in February I be have a really impossible time beside UTI's and Yeast Infections... I have a discouraging "outbreak" of bumps that hurt so bleak. I go to the Gyno and he did a culture and the assessment come rear legs that I have herpes... Now, since they go away, I own not have an outbreak... And neither have my partner... Infact my partner never have have one... The doc said that some populace are the carrier of herpes and dont hold outbreaks... My query is, is near a possibility the culture be wrong? And how can I find out if I definatly hold it?? I know I probably do and am within denial...
