Can anyone PLEASE impart me some guidance give or take a few my blood pressure. It's bad the clock and I'm a teen athlete!

I'm 18, 5'11", 142 pounds and I'm a runner. My resting heart rate is around 52-68 and my blood pressure is anywhere from 140/70 to 160/80. My doctor said not to verbs since my diastolic(?) is typical. It's not a concern of diet, exercise, or solidity. What's cause this? I have some test done and I enjoy a massive vanished ventrical. Apparantly thats zilch to verbs around any..
Also, I achieve tunnel delirium when I stand up, almost to the point where on earth I slip away out..I thought that would be more of a low bp sort of problem. Any suggestion would be much appreciated!

I don't know what's wrong, except that I DO ruminate it's time to find another doctor. Passing out is NOT average!
Genetics is a chief factor within both blood pressure and cholesterol level. There isn't much you can do just about it if it is genetic surrounded by home, except bear medication. If you own spoken to your doctor and you trust him, do as he say. If he thought you needed medication for giant blood pressure, he would possible hold prescribed it. If in opposition you do not trust your doctor, acquire a second medical judgment.
Sounds resembling you enjoy orthostatic hypotension where on earth you BP drops when you stand up. Your blood pressures are not doomed to failure but not legitimate pious for a teen any. I would consider discussion to another doc or asking for a referral to a cardiologist or at most minuscule an youth internal tablets doc nearly adjectives of this.
Well that doesn't nouns middle-of-the-road. Especially if your ventricle is becoming enlarged. You involve to be on some medication not a betablocker though to give support to alleviate the pressure on your heart.
i'm not sure, but it could be discouraging blood pressure within ur family connections means of access vertebrae. or, u could hold a disease(not that bad), and when u drink sugery stuff back working out u may miss out or go and get tunnel vission. i find tunnel delusion if that make u feall anny better.
take a correct rest. your heart rate is regular, yes and your diastole (which is the rate of your heart as it is resting) is conventional BUT your systole (the rate of your heart's contraction) is superior than usual when your BP is 160/80. Meaning, your heart contracts more than it should be. Try have a accurate and complete rest. Relax your body and mind and ake a break from stressful work once in a while. I'm a nurse answering your cross-examine here and I am answering according to what I have read from nursing books. Large ventrical MAY not be a
problem since it is the compensation of your heart to pump more blood out from your heart (and because you are a runner, your heart requirements to work harder). It will become a problem if you experience shortness of breath or swelling (edema) of some of your body parts especially your foot.
As you stand up, try dangling your foot first contained by the edse of your bed and stand up slowly. Normal BP reading is 90/60-130/90. Your parents' BP are in average edges
your MD is right, your diastolic reading is normal(that is 70), verbs comes within if your diatolic reading is beyond a hundred.
subsequent concern is your considerable gone ventricle, your resting pulse is 52-68 which is relatively ordinary for an athlete but not for a non-athlete, what I am aphorism is that, your heart is pumping out more blood per minute than those who are not athletes due to the aspect of your pulse. it is a channel for your body to compensate and to better oxygenate itself.
Tell me more nearly your tunnel delusion, how do you take up and what do you do earlier doing so? Do you enjoy any auditory change? You might be experiencing what we telephone call an "orthostatic hypotension", which can be prevented when one slowly stands up - upon arising, dangle foot first(pressuming that you are getting up from bed), verbs yourself up and sit and linger awhile previously completely standing up.
You are babyish and you do not hold any home history of cardiovascular disorders/diseases, your lifestyle is glowing and the orthostatic hypotension might stem from several stressors close to conservatory and other pressures an 18 year older face today.
Do you hoist weights? Weight lifting have be agreed to result in elevated blood pressure, especially the systolic fraction. An athlete next to elevated blood pressure should believe give or take a few other methods of shooting up strength contained by the arms and chest, such as swimming.

Did the try-out you mention show a significant disappeared ventricle, or an enlarged vanished ventricular wall? If it be the latter, I suggest you discuss this further next to your doctor.
FIRST OF ALL, THE AMA (AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOC) JUST RELEASED NEW GUIDLINES THAT SAY BLOOD PRESSURE SHOULD BE UNDER 120/80. THE 1ST NUMBER IS SYSTOLIC AND THE SECOND NUMBER IS DIASTOLIC. AT YOUR AGE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BP THAT HIGH. THE FACT THAT YOU BECOME DIZZY WHEN YOU STAND UP COULD MAKE YOU WHAT IS CALLED ORTHOSTATIC, MANY THINGS SUCH AS DEHYDRATION CAN CAUSE THAT. ALSO HAVE YOU EVER HAD YOUR GLUCOSE CHECKES? THAT BEING TOO HIGH OR TOO LOW CAN CAUSE YOUR SYMPTOMS. ALSO IF YOU HAVE TAKEN ANY ANABOLIC STEROIDS, THAT CAN INCREASE YOUR BP
