I had an attack of acute pancreatitis give or take a few 2-3 months ago, and I've so far recovered completely (can eat hasty food again without inkling sick, no more nausea after eating, my appetite's fund, no more minor pain contained by my stomach, etc) and I was of late wondering if smoking hookah every now and afterwards would trigger another attack? I know alcohol is really bad for pancreatitis so I've be sober ever since I got out of the hospital.
On the internet, within are many articles stating that tobacco is sick for CHRONIC pancreatitis, but nothing more or less its effects on acute pancreatitis.
In an acute attack, the pancreas fully recovers over time, while contained by chronic, it doesn't. So the way I see it, if my pancreas if fully heal now, can't I smoke hookah occasionally?
