Am I allergic to onions?

Every time I hold eat something near onions within it contained by the closing couple weeks, I get hold of this intense itch, spasm, and swelling on the roof of my mouth, (my palate). It's unusual though because I enjoy no other symptoms. Just that. No upset stomach, no throat closing or anything resembling that. Is in that anything else could it be? Thanks.

you may enjoy a mild allergy or conceivably a cut on the roof of your mouth which is irritated by the tang of the onions.
