Vitamen a and D balm keep it moist and help it alleviate. Last try marine sea or brackish dampen. Drink a beer it help and worthy luck. Worst armour nobody will remember it but you. the more you fuss next to it the worse it will grasp. DONT TRY TO POP IT.

Get some Herpecin-L. It is wonderful! It comes in somewhat tube similar to Chapstick and soothes your cold sore and also keep the scab moist so you don't split clear the scab every time you smile. I've see it at pharmacies and big supermarkets.
I've be getting cold sores for 45 years and zilch I've found works as ably as this stuff. Just hold applying it.

I found a great perscription that works wonders. It is call Famvir. I a moment ago pinch one when I get the impression that cold sore tingle. Mine go away in 2 days! Your Doc probably even have sample for you to try earlier spending your $ on it. Good Luck!

Aftershave, cologne, purell.
Put some of it onto a cotton swab, and hold it directly onto the cold sore... burns approaching a mo'fo', but dries it out completely. Will be gone by the nuptials for sure !
