Light Therapy for Insomnia?

Has anyone tried this? I have done a bunch of research and it seem legit for SAD, Insomnia, Circadian Rhythm Disorders, etc. According to an 'assessment' I have a delayed circadian rhythm.. no SAD or anything close to that that I know of. It also says it may backing with depression, moods, sparkle, etc.
Has anyone tried this and have positive results? It costs almost $300 so it isn't cheap but ably worth it if it does all it say. I was looking at Apollo Health devices.
I tried self hypnosis and valerian, melatonin, etc but I stipulation to really fix the problem, not just curtain it.
Thanks!
