Home remedies for poison oak?

So, I've got poison oak (had it since yesterday), and luckily, it's not spreading and is not too discouraging. The home remedy that I use is a salt paste--it help dry up the oils, and it's REALLY correct for itching! I also use Calamine lotion for drying it up and stopping the itching...along with Technu to do doesn`t matter what it is supposed to do.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Answers:    Hope you similar to baths. I've had poison oak more times than I supervision to remember. Well - I've finally learned to identify it, so I haven't have it in a few years.

Point individual, oatmeal baths are the best relief. The best is basically regular quick cook oatmeal (the munificent in the circular cardboard cannister). Grind them up contained by a blender or a food processor and dump in the tub. You can buy oatmeal hip bath at the store, but it's a lot cheaper only to buy oatmeal and grind it up. I think the finishing time I had poison oak I stayed within the tub up to 6 hours every day. Then when you acquire out just put the calamine on.
I'm sorry you've get it.
