Does anybody know that varying to diabetic diet affect the glucose tolerance theory test?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and diagnosed with gestational diabetes. My doctor desires me to follow a diabetic diet and will repeat the glucose tolerance test within 2 weeks. Does anybody knows that shifting to diabetic diet affect the glucose tolerance test? If yes do you give attention to 2 weeks is enough?

Answers:    The doctor have already determined that you are diabetic at this point. I am thinking that the reason he requests you to follow a diabetic diet then check again contained by two weeks is to make sure that the diabetes is not getting worse and can be controlled by diet alone. If it appears that it can't, he may fashion the decision to shift ahead and put you on insulin. Good luck and congratulations on your new babe-in-arms :)
Might help some but deeply the way your body handle glucose has be altered forever.
A less serious Glucose Tolerance Test may show, but roughly is best for you to eat and live resembling a diabetic from now on.
All the harmed to blood vessels continues .
I can't answer your put somebody through the mill but I can tell you that beside gestational diabetes you are at a higher risk of developing diabetes subsequent in go.

After your baby is born, monitor your weight and obtain your BGL's (blood glucose levels) checked regularly.

When I was pregnant years ago, this be not known and I am in a minute diabetic on medication. I probably had better than normal BGL's for a long time and didn't know it. I terminated up with eye smash up at age 43, so stay on top of it...
Just do it, you want to keep hold of your baby and 2 weeks is plenty time.
