My daughter's big toenail stopped growing and it have be hurting for in the order of 2 months. The cuticle is gone 2.

She doesn't remember hurting it. It's just one toe. All the other nail are growing and none of the other toes hurt. Her cuticle is gone. It looks weird. Any notion what is happening to it? It's not red and it's narrowly swollen.

She could have a staple fungus. My daughter experienced same with her finger nail. After she lost a nail, and after another, I took her to the doc. He determined the fungus. I acquired a prescription for some cream. And that took thinking of it. Her 2 nails grew spinal column. And that was years ago.
