Answers: My young son have this disorder. I tell him that it is a small bit of who he is. He is so much more. He is a talented artist, plays chess, make movies on his iMac, and is just an adjectives around great kid. I would not trade him for the world.
It's like MLK said "empire should be judged on the content of their part and not the color of their skin" Well the same respect is required for those beside a difference or disability.
OH and BTW it is not a cussing disease. Only a VERY SMALL NUMBER of people beside TS ever display Coprolalia and it is not a requirement for a diagnosis. A huge and hurtful misconception.
you cant judge folks for their disease, you shouldnt judge ethnic group or look at them differently because of something they dont choose to have. Tourrettes is a tangible serious disease you should look it up, and see what their going through, and if you had this disease would you want relatives to judge because of it?
