He must not help yourself to anything, including over-the-counter vitamins or herb or any variety, lacking consulting his dermatologist or pharmacist. I looked up my copy of PDR and it did not chronicle any interaction beside Malanil, but please, I am not a pharmacist, and he really wishes to be informed just about this.
