I have mine out in April this year.
I have the surgery on the Wednesday 4th and go stern to work Tuesday 10th (easter holidays).
I work as a vet tech so do lots of bending and lifting and probably should enjoy taken a bit longer but my employer be really honourable.
I would suggest if you hold a physical opportunity allow 10-14 days, if non physical allow 5-10 days.
I feel my worse on the 3rd and 4th days.
Ask to your doctor.
