I hold some sort of rash/little bumps on the inside of my thighs. It itches so fruitless. What could it be?

It's been itching since around the formation of December. I've used hydrocortisone, powder and medicated powder. Hydrocortisone worked the best, but I scar greatly easily and it'll get up me up in the middle of the darkness itching and i've scratched it a lot. I even own like raise areas, like welt from scratching, but I can't lend a hand it. I don't know what to do. I plan on making a dr. appt., but is there anything I can do contained by the meantime or does anyone know what it is? Originally I thought it was a moment ago from walking and getting more excercise than normal and my jeans rubbing!?!? Thanks!

Answers:    is it red?? perchance it's exzema.....if so, it makes sense that the article that helps stop the itching and be paid it better is hydrocortisone....
Hi Scheyenne;
It sounds like you may enjoy a heat unthinking. It's tough to say beside any certainty beside just your description to be in motion by, but that would be my best guess. The groin area is one of the hottest parts of the human body, so here and the armpits (axilla) are the most likely sites for us to gain heat rash. It doesn't have to be 100 degree outside for you to get a steam rash, you a short time ago have to generate like mad of heat within the affected nouns. Add sweat, friction from rubbing clothing or just from your thighs rubbing together, and you can achieve a really itchy, sore, and tender area of skin.

One item you might try is a zinc cream like what is used for babies that own diaper rash. An over-the-counter cortisone cream can also help out, especially when you use it at night, followed by the zinc cream surrounded by the daytime. Be sure to wash the nouns well, rinse near clear water, and dry the skin powerfully before applying any the zinc cream or the cortisone cream.

There is another possibility that also fits your description. I don't know how old you are, but if you are surrounded by puberty or even past it, you might own a vaginal yeast infection. That can cause chafing and a imprudent on the skin in the thigh nouns because the discharge adds to the moisture contained by the area, and yeast infections are mostly very itchy anyway. If you do own a yeast infection, it does not mean that you enjoy done anything wrong or inappropriate. Even babies can receive yeast infections! Yeast is normally present contained by our bodies, but sometimes the chemistry of our bodies change as we seasoned, if our immune systems are under stress, or if our hormone level change, the yeast go into overdrive.

I would recommend that you stop by your local pharmacy and talk to a pharmacist. He or she can advocate you on the best cortisone cream, soothing ointment, or zinc cream to use. Pharmacists are really notably trained to answer questions approaching yours, and you can be confident of the answers you get.

Good luck to you! I hope the itching and the discomfort and rash settle down soon for you.
