Well if you have it it shows instantly. A 250 glucose reading is NOT usual. And is easy to spot. If you don't hold it though they have to rule against it completely. And that could thieve some time.
If it takes longer hope for the best. They could be conducting tests to see if its another ailment or condition causing the symptoms you are experiencing.
Theres is a blood trial called HGBA1C that measures how much your blood glucose have been on average over the second 3 months. That is only a one time blood draw and you own results as quickly as next to any other blood test.
