Fish Oil supplements useless for decreasing probability of heart disease?

I just saw on CNN this morning a cardiologist saw that fish oil supplements are unsophisticatedly useless, that only the actual food source provides the benefits of decreasing stroke and heart disease? Is this so?
I other understood that the omega-3 fatty acids are what provide these benefits, which are included within both the fish oils supplements and palpably the fish themselves....

Answers:    I think they are somehow right because contained by the actual food you find different mineral and organic complexes that can't be obtain during chemical reactions contained by pharma. laboratories.
omega 3 fatty acid can't be unpromising for your health but it's better to chomp through the whole complex of vitamins, lipids, proteins, etc.
yes they are really dutiful for the heart
