Is at hand any relationship between blood sugar and blood pressure?

I have Type 1 diabetes and occasional giant blood pressure readings. If my blood sugar be high, possibly around 250, will that affect by blood pressure?

Answers:    Absolutely ... but I don't think it would affect it directly. If your blood sugar is elevated you're not going to be feeling very well, and it may cause you extra stress. Both of which can raise your blood pressure.

And some people's blood pressure is more sensitive to different things ... my husband's can move about up dramatically with purely a little stress. Where when I'm really stressed it doesn't turn up that much.

The link from your first responder is really great. Mr Peachy's story doesn't nouns correct to me. I have a 2 year outdated with type 1 who I enjoy to test around 10 times per daylight. Her blood does not seem thicker if her sugar is at 400 or 60.
While this article is more give or take a few Type II, it says near is a relationship between blood sugar and blood pressure: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/08/health...
Hope that helps!
