I have to write a thesis for health class roughly long term and short permanent status effects of STDs. I have the majority done, but I know one of the cureable diseases can produce scaring and making a women infertile. Does anyone (profesionally or personally) know the amount of time it take if left untreated, for the disease to exact infertility. Its for a report, so accurecy is appreciated.

Answers: in adjectives honesty, it is different for everyone. the infertility part of an std, most of the time comes from pelvic inflammatory disease....which is cause by the std, it's part of the infection. however, not adjectives people return with this. from personal experience, i contracted chlamydia from a boyfriend, and i didnt find out i even had the infection until probably a year latter, when i had my pap exam. i have no symptoms, no pelvic inflammatory disease (which is very highly common beside chlamydia), anyhow i was treated next to an antibiotic and everything turned out just fine. my fertility be not affected, as i am pregnant right immediately!
