Can one be allergic to gold ingots?

I wore my white gold ingots Tiffany engagement ring for a year near no problems. Several weeks ago I get married and changed it to my nuptial company, which is also white gold ingots. Soon I notice glow, swelling and blistering skin where on earth the ring come into contact next to my skin. I took the ring bad, agree to the skin alleviate and changed support to my Tiffany ring. Then my finger swole and skin started blistering again!
Why is that? Did I develop allergy to gold ingots? I thought that be impossible, since gold ingots is never suppossed to make happen allergies? Or is it?

Answers:
Yes, you can be allergic to gold ingots, I am. 14 Carat bothers my fingers, but 10 carat does not. Go integer. The best entry to do is to coat the inside of your ring next to clear fingernail polish. Use a moral brand that will not turn pallid, and do it every so repeatedly.. Check beside your jewler and see if they own a coating they can apply. Good Luck.
you can be allergic to anything
yes, you can in fact be allergic to gold ingots (stinks don't it!)
I own alot of friends who enjoy to wear sterling silver due to their allergies.
what you described sounds resembling it
