I know it's completely sore for you to look subsidise during your most depressed stage in your vivacity while war to live against cancer. However, it's also mesmeric to bring to mind the time when you know you enjoy a haphazard to survive and find rid from it. Can you please share it to us? In 2000, when I be 22, I be diagnosed next to stage 3B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I be given 30 treatments of ASVB and nine months then I be surrounded by remission. Two months after that I have a relapse and be told the individual hope be a bone marrow transplant. So I took more chemo and some more chemo. You see I didn't hold insurance and NO ONE considered necessary to touch me. For me it be worse than the cancer. Knowing that I be dying everyday but not a soul care.
In August of 2002, the University of Arizona Bone Marrow Transplant program agreed me and I be on my path to a transplant. The subsequent problem be NO DONOR MATCHED. I be a point that I needed a transplant or die. My doctor later recommended that I do an Autoglous stem Cell Transplant. That is a transplant where on earth you donate you own stem cell.
I begin a regimin of a white cell growth hormone. I recieved 5 shots a sunshine for 2 weeks. After that I be admit to the transplant ward at UA within Tuscon and begin a poisonous dose of chemo to snuff any cancer cell that may still be living.
After 11 days of 24 hour (really intense) chemo I be given 2 days to restore your health past I be given my transplant.
I be told upon arrival I would be contained by the hospital itself for at lowest possible 4 months. No one have ever gotten out until that time sunshine 22 (# od days after transplant). Well I be 1, 000 miles from my husband and son and that time frame be not proper. I be released on hours of daylight 7 near NOT ONE side effect i be assured that I would get
ON OCTOBER 17, 2007, I WILL BE 5 YEARS IN REMISSION.
