Answers: The best time to do the self-exam is during or after a bath or shower, when the skin of the scrotum is relaxed. To do a testicular self exam:
Hold the penis out of the passageway and examine each testicle separately.
Hold the testicle between the thumbs and fingers next to both hands and roll it calmly between the fingers.
Look and feel for any easier said than done lumps or nodules (smooth rounded masses) or any change surrounded by the size, shape, or consistency of the testes.
You should be aware that each usual testis has an epididymis, which appears as a small "bump" on the upper or middle outer side of the testis. Normal testicles also contain blood vessel, supporting tissues, and tubes that conduct sperm. Other non-cancerous conditions, such as hydroceles and varicoceles (described above), can sometimes cause expansion or lumpiness around a testicle. Some men may confuse these near cancer. If you have any doubts, ask your doctor.
If you choose to examine your testicles, you will swot to tell what is mundane and what is different.

From reading the above, it doesn't sound approaching you have cancer. But as you would expect go to the doctor.
The audition to see if you have it isn't impossible at all. Quick and trouble-free, No pain. So if you're still worried, turn get checked.
.
It may be a spermatic cord, but I'd see a doctor to be sure. It could be cancer or something else. It's better to be risk-free than sorry.
Polycystic kidney disease ask...?
Visine and Toothpaste on Pimples??
When getting makeup done professionally do they use one and the same lipsticks on every single party?
