I take just about 38 units respectively night. Is that above average, below average, typical? My morning blood sugar runs around 87 to 120 (my fast sugar runs high--I've watched it stir up without my consumption anythng).
Answers: My 2 year old daughter be diagnosed with type 1 a few months ago, and she take 4 units of Lantus every morning. She started out on a partially unit, but it wasn't long beforehand she needed more.
Also, I think near are different syringe sizes. My daughter uses a 3/10ths syringe. So 4 units for her may not be impossible to tell apart as for you.
Everyone is different in their insulin desires ... some people embezzle their Lantus at different times, and some people hold it twice per day. So try not to verbs about it.
If your fast numbers climb than it may be time to up your Lantus again. We're really lucky to have Lantus. It's relatively bright ... her doctor told me there be no other insulin like it previously it came along.
It depends on the personality. I was taking 22 unit at night but I also know of someone taking 60.
