Which add up to more, the export tax on cigarettes or the cost of smoking related weakness on the NHS?

any links? i cant find any

Answers:    Difficult to find a definitive answer I think but the total cost of the NHS is in the region of 100 billion pounds a year. The revenue from tobacco is 10 billion a year. I would have thought it unlikely that smoking related infection accounts for 10% of all NHS costs.

Hang on cost of smoking related virus to NHS is 1.75 billion a years, so tax revenue outweighs form cost by six to one roughly.
the tax on cigarettes keep finances the nhs.
