I read that the symptoms will start going away at different times, i have have it now for around 2 weeks. I don't have as tons fevers, my glands contained by my throat are REALLY swollen still, and my throat is still sore. When does this normally start going away?? I'm taking prednisone for my throat, but it doesn't appear to be helping much....hmmmm help....
Answers: Mono may ultimate 2-4 weeks or longer... sorry. By the way, almost everybody surrounded by the world gets infected next to Epstein-Barr virus, the main mete out of "mono." Most of us are infected as young children and we don't develop the typical symptoms. You should simply get it once and consequently be immune. Prednisone may help for a moment with throat inflammation, but doesn't really treat mono. Only time... try motrin or advil for throat twinge.
