Where can I find some statistics on cancer research and funding provided by the political affairs.?

I am writing a 6-8 page research dissertation proving that the system is not amply funding cancer research. Thus cause much of the assignment to dive on the shoulders of private organization.

Hmm. You could look at the DHHS (Department of Health & Human Services) Budget, and see how much the National Cancer Institute is funded, but this will probably lone cover this institution. It might be a worthy place to start. The American Cancer Society might also hold some background for you. Good luck!
