Do you muse I own asthma?

Several times I've woken up in the midst of the dark and have trouble breathing. (I can't story on my support for a long time if not I can't breathe). After a long run I recurrently experience robust breathing or even wheezing. And I don't know, but I didn't start have these problems until I caught pnemonia 2 winters ago. Do you deliberate I hold Asthma?

Answers:
You describe orthopnea (breathing easier while in an adjectives position) and sleep apnea. Getting winded after a long run is completely logical, but the wheeze is a bit of a red flag. Without seeing a pulmonary function examination it is incredibly difficult to speak about you what exactly is going on. See your physician and strongly, STRONGLY request a PFT. Sleep apnea is close to playing russian roulette, eventually it will seize you. CO2 level surrounded by your body will steadily rise, your body will compensate, and up to that time you know it you are on a ventilator within a hospital. Yes, I'm trying to alarm you because it is something I see almost on a daily basis. Get a sleep study and seize a PFT, don't consent to your doc blow you past its sell-by date.
i grasp , it's ok . :)
yes i reflect on nearby is a devout unpredictability that you could own it the just mode to possibly find out for sure is to stir to the doc and see what they articulate.
You should be evaluated by a pulmonologiost. It is not unusual for this to begin after have pneumonia, but other things perchance a t play here as powerfully.
It sounds close to you own a reactive airway that flares up when you exercise or gain sick. Technically that could be call asthma... and you should gossip to your family connections doctor. If you're not prehistoric plenty (I didn't look at your profile), speak about your parents so they can appointment on your behalf. Your doc will work near you to identify what your specific triggers are, and how to control them best (or avoid them, depending on the issue). I pass albuterol next to me at adjectives times, even though I enjoy not have any flare-ups unless I own an upper respiratory infection -- I never thought I have a problem until I have really impossible bronchitis several summers ago, and I wound up need steroids, antibiotics, and bronchodilators (drugs that "friendly your airway") Anyhow, please see your doc, because any reactive airway problem is NOT to be messed near or taken weakly. Here's to your strength.
Griff say it best. a PFT (pulmonary function test) and sleep study is freshly what you have need of.
Perhaps.

Asthma can start after a bout of pneumonia.
