Answers: Sometimes I do the control test and afterwards retest myself again. And if my numbers are still very giant or very low I exploit accordingly. If too low I put away something. If too high, I call upon the doctor and dose accordingly.
If your numbers are too lofty, depending on the number (over 300 for us), then you usually have need of a correction (extra dose) of insulin. Drinking water can sometimes serve bring your numbers down as well.
If they are too low (under 80), you involve some fast acting sugar, such as liquid or candy like Skittles...stay away from chocolate as it absorb differently in your system and does not work as fast.
Talk to your healthcare provider (you should hold an endocrinologist and a diabetes educator) to find out what the normal span of glucose levels should be for you. Sometimes it vary based on age, etc. Being too high-ranking or too low can cause plentifully of different side effects, none of which are good for you!.
Good luck!
If my numbers are too illustrious, I take a shot of speedy acting insulin (Novolog). If they're too low, I eat :)...usually I lately drink orange liquid though
