Reaction to alcohol consumption among Asians (Asians only)?

Some East Asians experience an ethanol or alcohol intolerance (ALDH2-deficiency) because of unique metabolism. Symptoms include including facial flushing, nausea, headache, shortness of breath and dizziness.

Raptor /Bennu Pharmaceuticals is developing a drug to remove these symptoms and serious long term strength effects. If you are of Asian ancestry and experience these symptoms, would you take this drug until that time drinking, if it was inexpensive and available?

Answers:    I would consider it, but it would depend entirely on what the experience of drinking alcohol would be close to.
