By my armpit and shoulder blade I have a white patch that is to say lighter than the rest of my skin (I'm very street light skinned so it's not that noticeable). However, I am constantly wondering what it might be. I thought that it might be vitiligo but it doesn't spread and I don't have ANYONE within my family next to it. I have have it since I was little and my mom notice it one day and pointed it out, but the funny article is that I once went to the coast (which I never go to I aversion it it was the 1st time I own been in attendance since I was a VERY small child) and get *really* burned!!-Everything but the patch it stayed as white as I have ever have it and I am still waiting for my burn (which looks like a suntan that only I notice) to dance away (people are shocked when I tell them I'm tanned) so any tips on getting rid of a suntan would help and that be about a year ago too!
Any theories, direction, or answers from doctors would be appreciated. Thanks in mortgage.
Answers: you just enjoy a pigment inconsistency. vitiligo tends to be symetrical and wouldn't be on basically one random patch on your body. if you've have it since you were a small child and you don't remember getting it, you be more than likely born next to it. i would suggest putting a band-aid or something over it when you go out into the sun, because if it burns that eaisily you could gain skin cancer.
