A cyst on the kidney?

what do you think it is

Answers:    Don't be alarmed by that first answer. The great probability is that it is a simple, benign, kidney cyst that requires no treatment. They in general produce no signs or symptoms. Polycystic disease is relatively rare. That should not be the first conclusion one jump to.

Solitary benign cysts are the most common type found. Up to partly of the population over age 50 have at most minuscule one cyst. The exact cause of such cysts isn't agreed. Most are found accidentally while doing a computerized tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam, or ultrasound of the kidneys done for some other defence. Kidney cysts usually need no treatment. Some can become so hulking that they press on other organs and require surgical removal but that is fairly rare. Many of us are walking around beside these and will live out our lives normally short ever knowing about it.

If you would close to more information, I've attached a link to the Mayo Clinic website. This is a great site and I presume you will be reassured. Good luck.
