That doesn't mean it doesn't crop up to vegetarians, though. A lacto-vegetarian friend of mine was diagnosed beside colon cancer a few years ago, and she had never eat meat in her life span (over 60 years!). Loma Linda is a Seven Day Adventist community and most Adventist are pretty much vegetarians.. Loma Linda have the longest life expectancy for its population of any town within the USA... I am not a vegetarian.. but living at hand 3 months was an extraordinary experience.. they were the healthiest group of relatives I have ever see...and most all of them lived to 90-100s... sure no cancer or cardiovascular disease among them.
