Answers: When I be first diagnosed, I was told that any sugar rank over 250 (13.8) should be attended to at the hospital. I have since studious that should my sugar level walk this high, I inevitability time to take an injection of a few unit of my fast acting insulin, pretend down with a drink of hose, and let it settle itself. Also, exercise next to insulin works for me as well.
Ask the Doctor to pass you some Ketoacidosis test strips. I one and only go to the hospital when those turn up positive immediately. Then again, you should always follow your GP's directives. Those just start to be mine.
Ultimately, you want to have a right regime of diet and exercise to keep the BSL contained by check. Possibly ask to speak with a dietician or nutritionist?
